Mission Statement

My mission as a teacher is to provide a safe happy learning environment for my students. I know that each child is an individual with many needs both academically and emotionally. It is my desire to help each child identify and move in a positive direction towards meeting their needs. I know that I am a very important person in the life of my students, and I strive to not take that responsibility lightly. I know that I should remember that my words and actions are playing a part in the child’s understanding of our societal norms and aspirations. I want to start off and end each day with the same thought in my mind: “Did I treat each student with respect? Did I set a good example for each child today?"
